Where Shadows Fall is a celebration; a celebration of a bygone age in cinema which is dark in style, content and subject matter. A time before the reign of spoon-fed mediocrity of modern Hollywood, and glossy CGI and MTV visuals, before “reality” TV took siege of our living rooms and the onslaught of rehashed remakes and ill-conceived “homage” cinema invaded the big screen.

Primarily focusing upon cinema from the silent era through the 1960’s, while stretching into relevant genre, period and "retro" themed cinema of later eras,  we intend to cover "dark" cinema from the mainstream to the cinematic underbelly;  probing into every dark corner - both highbrow and lowbrow, in the hope of broadening our readers' viewing horizons.
